Brian Banton

A multidisciplinary designer, originally from Toronto, Canada, Brian has worked as a Creative Director at SAP, a Visual Designer for Oculus VR at Meta Reality Labs in Menlo Park, California, a Principal Designer at Frog Design’s Brooklyn office, and as a Senior Designer at Pentagram’s New York City office.

After completing a Master’s Degree in design in Toronto, Brian designed award winning books, identity systems, and motion graphics for cultural and non-profit institutions, before heading to New York City.

Brian has worked with an array of clients, small and large, in the commercial and non-profit space, leveraging design, strategy, and technology to create scalable, human-centered, and delightful experiences. Additionally, he has taught design courses at York University, George Brown College and Humber College.

Jacqui Lau

A multidisciplinary designer and art director, originally from Melbourne, Australia. A constant traveler, Jacqui has lived and worked around the globe before settling in Toronto. She was recently a Visual Design Lead at Huge and Senior Designer at Shopify. While in NYC, a Design Director at ad agency Anomaly and science tech start-up Elysium Health. She was also a designer at DDB Melbourne and TBWA\ Hong Kong.

She has a diploma of Interior Design and a Degree in Communication Design from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia.

Jacqui has worked with large scale corporations to boutique brands. Additionally, she has an entrepreneurial spirit, co-founding a coffee bar and pizza shop in Glasgow, Scotland, and founding her own kids wear label, Babes in Hoods in 2019.
